1. Who we are
ScreenRehab is provided by ONDU d.o.o., Lokovica 48, 3325 Šoštanj, Slovenia (“we”, “us”). By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
2. What ScreenRehab is
ScreenRehab helps you reduce screen time by pairing you with a friend (“buddy”) who approves or denies your requests to unlock apps you have limited. It is a self-help tool. It is not a medical, psychological or clinical service. If you are struggling with your mental health, please talk to a professional.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 15 years old. [CONFIRM: minimum age]
- Give accurate information and keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- You can delete your account at any time. See how to delete your account.
4. Your buddy
When you pair with a buddy, you agree that they can see the information described in our privacy policy, including the reasons you write in requests. Pair only with someone who has agreed to it and whom you trust. Be respectful: don’t use requests or messages to harass, threaten or pressure anyone.
5. Subscriptions and payments
- Paid features are sold as a subscription through Google Play. One subscription covers the subscriber and their linked buddy.
- A free trial may be offered. Unless you cancel before it ends, the subscription starts and renews automatically at the price shown in Google Play.
- You can cancel at any time in Google Play. Access continues until the end of the paid period.
- Payments, refunds and billing questions follow Google Play’s refund policies. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
6. Fair use
Don’t misuse the service. That means no attempts to access other people’s data, no interfering with our systems, no reverse-engineering beyond what the law allows, and no using ScreenRehab for anything illegal.
7. No guarantees
We work hard to make blocking reliable, but Android lets device owners change settings and permissions, and some devices limit background apps. We cannot guarantee that an app can never be opened, or any particular result for your screen time. The service is provided “as is”, and may change or be interrupted.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by your buddy’s decisions. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for intent or gross negligence, or your rights as a consumer.
9. Ending the service
You can stop using ScreenRehab at any time. We may suspend accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms. If we ever shut down the service, we will give reasonable notice in the app.
10. Changes
If we change these terms in a meaningful way, we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Slovenia. If you are a consumer in the EU, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence, and you can bring claims in your local courts.
